I am an Early Stage Researcher (ESR) at Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU). I  hold two master’s degree one in ‘International Relations’ from JNU and other in ‘European Studies: Governance and regulations’ from Centre for European Integration, University of Bonn. Previously I worked as research intern at secretariat of South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC), taught Comparative politics at Global College International, Kathmandu and worked as a tax and financial executive in a business consultancy. My research interests center on European Union, its relations with emerging powers and the changing economic and political perceptions. I was first Nepalese to be awarded with Konard Adenauer Stiftung (KAS) scholarship to study in Germany. Previously I have researched and published works on Regional integration, South Asian water security, EU and china relations, Germany’s Engagement in Afghanistan post 2001 and EU tax representation and design.
