Mónica Rodríguez de Luna

I am a Marie Curie Fellow and PRIMO Early Stage Researcher based at the Institute of Political Science in the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Hamburg. My research focuses on the role of the Brazilian Media in Climate Change Politics in Brazil and the discourses and complex domestic correlation of forces that mediate the Climate Change Politics of the South American country, and its stances in multilateral climate change fora.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations by Universidad del Valle de Mexico and an interdisciplinary Joint Master’s Degree in Migration and Intercultural Relations offered by the Carl Von Ossietzky Universität Oldenburg, the University of Stavanger and Makerere University. In the contexts of my Master’s, I also worked for the International Organization of Migration in Prague. My fields of interest include Climate Change Politics, International Migration, Border Regimes, Social Movements and Transnationalism. My regional focus is Latin America and Spain.
