Host Institution: Fudan University

I am a Marie Curie Fellow and PRIMO Early Stage Researcher based at Fudan University in Shanghai, China. I have a Cum Laude Master degree in International Relations from the University of Amsterdam, the Netherlands and a Bachelor degree Trade Management Asia from the Amsterdam School of Business and Economics.

My areas of interest include China and its foreign relations, in particular China’s relationship with Japan and North Korea as well as the EU-China relationship. My research will focus on socialisation processes between existing and emerging powers and the rise of emerging powers as international norm-shapers.
