I hold a degree in Political Sciences from the Faculty of Law and Political Sciences at the Loránd Eötvös University of Budapest. I completed a separate MA programme at the University of Exeter (Devon, UK) in International Relations. I mainly worked in (and with) the government sector in subsequent years.
My work experience includes public affairs for the cabinet of the Minister for National Economy and the State Secretary of Economic Planning. I also served successively at the China and Korea desks of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Hungary. More recently I was employed by an institute of industrial policy research in the capacity of research director.
