Eleonora Tafuro Ambrosetti
Host Institution: Middle East Technical University
I am a Marie Curie Fellow and PRIMO Early Stage Researcher based at the Middle East Technical University in Ankara, Turkey. My areas of interest include EU enlargement and neighbourhood policies (especially with Eastern neighbours) and EU-Russia relations. I have a Bachelor degree in International Relations from the University of Salento based in Lecce, my hometown, an MA in European Studies from the University of Roma Tre, and an MRes in International Relations from the Barcelona Institute of International Studies (IBEI).
Before joining PRIMO, I was junior researcher at the Brussels office of FRIDE, a Spanish think tank. Prior to that, I worked as a research assistant at CIDOB (a Barcelona-based think tank) and as a project assistant at the NGO Fundación Promoción Social de la Cultura (Madrid). While in Brussels, I was a member of the steering committee of WIIS (Women in International Security) Brussels, an international network dedicated to increase the influence of women in the field of foreign and defence policy.
