Host Institution: University of Lisbon
I am a Marie Curie Fellow and PRIMO Early Stage Researcher based at the Institute of Social Sciences of the University of Lisbon (ICS-UL). I hold a BSc in International Relations from UNI-BH in Belo Horizonte Brazil, my hometown, and an MSc in Human Geography and Conflict Studies at CICAM/Radboud University Nijmegen.
I have a great interest in contemporary IR and Political Science, specifically on discourses, identities and perceptions. Before joining PRIMO, I was a junior researcher at the Institute for Management Research (IMR), Radboud University Nijmegen, where I focused on EU-Brazil strategic relationship. I have worked as a visiting research fellow at Centre for International Borders Research (CIBR), Queens University Belfast, where I conducted research on touring discourses of West Belfast, and as a research assistant at the International Hot Spot Research Center at UNI-BH. Prior to that, my work experience varied from local NGO´s to international organizations, such as AIESEC, IDB and UN.
